Taylor Swift’s ‘Red’ Has Largest First Week Sales In The Past Ten Years

Taylor Swift, you are an amazing human being. Like, seriously, does anybody dislike her (except Kanye)? I think it might be impossible. Even if you’re not a fan of her music, she is beautiful, she is talented, she writes her own music, and she is in love with cats.

Oh yeah, and her fourth album, Red, sold 1.2 million copies in its first week. That’s pretty cool too. This marks the largest first week numbers since Eminem’s The Eminem Show dropped in 2002, selling 1.3 million units. It’s also the second-biggest first week for a female artist’s record, falling behind Britney Spears’ Oops!…I Did It Again. [TDS via RS]

You go, T-Swift! Get it, gurl!!
