Tapes 'N Tapes album due in April

Tapes ‘N Tapes will follow up its 2006 hypefest of an album, also known as The Loon, with a hopefully slumpless sophomore release. Walk It Off is slated for an April 8 release on XL Recordings. The Minneapolis-based band got Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Sleater-Kinney, Weezer) to produce.

“Tapes ‘n Tapes’ signature sound is distinctly their own concoction; the shaky vocals, the bursts of low-fi guitars and the haunting keyboard refrains,” the band’s publicist said in a statement. Um, yeah, distictly their own sound. Them or Modest Mouse.

Here's the tracklist:
1.  Le Ruse
2.  Time of Songs
3.  Hang Them All
4.  Headshock
5.  Conquest
6.  Say Back Something
7.  Demon Apple
8.  Blunt
9.  George Michael
10. Anvil
11. Lines
12. The Dirty Dirty
Stumble It!
