Talib Kweli Reveals 'Prisoner Of Conscious' Details

Now that he's probably done pushing his pretty damn good Gutter Rainbows album, Talib Kweli is ready to start letting us know about his next project called Prisoner of Conscious. Like so many rappers and artists before him, the Brooklyn native hopped on his Twitter account to share details on the record, which serves as the proper follow-up to 2007's Eardrum.

Prisoner of Conscious apparently features a diverse list of guest rappers, who include regulars like Mos Def and Jean Grae while Nelly, Curren$y, Maino, and Kendrick Lamar are also set to appear. OK, I can understand Maino...sort of. But Nelly? Ugh. Anyway, the production lineup is equally varied, though not quite as unexpected. So far, Kweli revealed that E. Jones, Terrace Martin, Rahki, Symbolic 1, Oh No, and Madlib will provide beats. Not bad at all. I'm especially interested in hearing Rahki's work after hearing his beat on Curren$y's "#JetsGo."

Prisoner of Conscious is due out in November.
