In the latest example of completely ridiculous, yet absolutely necessary software additions to the iPhone, T-Pain is collaborating with Antares Audio Technologies to produce an Auto-Tune application for Apple's ubiquitous line of phones. The program gives you the ability to shift the pitch of your voice and create computer-pop classics whenever and wherever the inspiration strikes you. However, the application will unfortunately not be capable of turning your voice into an Auto-Tune croon during a phone call, but will be used exclusively to "use [the Antares software] and T-Pain's beats so you can create music on your iPhone," said Georganna Drayton, the chief operating officer of Antares, in a phone interview with the LA Times. The application is still in the works and does not have a release date as of yet, but I would try and beat Super Monkey Ball for the iPhone as soon as possible so you'll have some time in your schedule to kill by the time it comes out.
