Because everyone has still been talking about it...wait. No. Because he has an album to promote, T-Pain has come out and said that he and Jay-Z have squashed their "D.O.A."-related beef that saw Pain calling Jay-Z old, and Jay-Z more or less treating T-Pain like the bug he is.
"We talked at the Grammys," he recently told MTV. "It was a pretty big thing. Word for word, he said, 'That's fucked up the way you took that song.' I'm a [crazy] nigga, so we gonna take the song like that. That's how we take songs. He was like, 'I didn't mean nothing by that.' I was like, 'I already put out my apology song ["More Careful"]. So there you go. My bad. I apologize. Apologize for taking the song like that.' We shook hands, did the little chest bump. That was the end of that."
So, chest bumps can solve everything, apparently. It's kind of goofy that T-Pain would be worried that people wouldn't pick up his album unless he came out and said he and Jay are cool, since that's what this is about. I'm sure fans of Auto-Tuned rap are deeply interested in the interpersonal relationships their musical heroes have with Auto-Tune hating rappers. [HipHopDX]
