T in the Park’s line-up includes R.E.M., Vampire Weekend, the Verve, and others

T in the Park, a festival that takes place every year in Scotland, has quickly become one of the premiere summer fests. T’s line-up always includes small indie-faves and huge Brit-pop dinosaurs, and this year is no exception.

This year’s T in the Park (taking place from July 11-13 in Balado, Scotland) features the likes of the Verve, Rage Against the Machine, the Fratellis, the Kooks, R.E.M., Kings of Leon, Amy Winehouse (if she doesn’t die of emphysema first, of course), the Prodigy, Panic at the Disco, the Raconteurs, the Subways, Chemical Brothers, the Wombats, Futureheads, Los Campesinos!, the Pogues, Ian Brown (he of Stone Roses fame), Echo and the Bunnymen, Vampire Weekend, Primal Scream, Hot Chip, Band of Horses, the Hold Steady, the National, My Morning Jacket, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Battles, Interpol, the Whigs, Yeasayer, Black Kids, Holy Fuck, and many more.

The bands play on stages as varied as the “Pet Sounds Arena” and “King Tut’s Wah Wah Tent.” [Pitchfork]
