T-Boz's Bankruptcy Case Dismissed By Court
We reported last November that TLC singer T-Boz was the latest '90s artist to fall into financial trouble. She found herself so deep in debt -- some $768,642.99 worth -- that she filed for bankruptcy. And it's been revealed today by TMZ that a court has thrown out her filing for Chapter 13.
Apparently the judge found that T-Boz "completely dropped the ball dealing with her affairs, failing to make any attempts to pay off her debts [and/or] appear at a creditors' meeting." As a result, creditors can now continue to pursue payments from her for the next 180 days, which is when she can again file for bankruptcy.
According to HipHopDX, this isn't anything especially new for T-Boz. She and the rest of TLC filed for Chapter 11 back in 1995, aka when they were absolutely huge.
