As the metal gods ascended from the heavens earlier this week with an announcements of Neurosis’ return to NYC, The Sword have completed work on Gods of Earth, their follow-up to 2006’s retro-metal album, Age of Winters. The album is set for a release on Kemado records on April 1st and promises to be simply bigger and more ambitious. I’m not sure how much bigger these guys can get without my walls caving in, but I shall gladly consume the noise. The track listing is as follows:
The Sundering
How Heavy This Axe
Lords
Fire Lances of the Ancient Hyperzephyrians
To Take the Black
Maiden, Mother & Crone
Under the Boughs
The Black River
The White Sea

The Knife should remix The Sword album. That shiz practically markets itself.
