Swizz Beatz Isn't The MegaUpload CEO

So you might have heard that Swizz Beatz was the CEO of recently shutdown file-sharing site MegaUpload. Well, that news is apparently completely false according to the website's top lawyer, Ira Rothkin. He explained that the rapper-producer-businessman was merely negotiating to become the CEO of Megaupload and nothing more: "To my knowledge, Swizz Beatz was never involved in any meaningful way." As FADER notes, hopefully this means he, too, can make it out for the Ruff Ryders reunion tour.
