First The Verve get back together after a decade, releasing free download "The Thaw Sessions," a 14-minute jam available at NME until Oct. 28, and now Swervedriver announce a worldwide tour in 2008 after their near decade-long hiatus. Can My Bloody Valentine and Ride be far behind? Shoegaze revival, anyone?
No dates or details have been released yet on the Swervedriver tour. In the meantime, Swervedriver frontman Adam Franklin plays the Mercury Lounge in New York on October 28. And his side project, the Setting Suns, with Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino, will play the same club on December 19.

Galaxie 500 and Spacemen 3 could get back together. Pigs could also fly. None of those things are going to happen. Sad.
