Sweden’s Lykke Li Speaks About Debut Fashion Collection

Other than the sensual eclectic pop music that we’ve known Sweden’s Lykke Li for, we’ve also known or at least seen the diva garbed in some of the most stunning and free flowing outfits. Well, during a listening party in Brooklyn for her new album, the chanteuse discussed her debut fashion collection which she has designed. If you’ve seen her live, then you’ll be familiar with the mostly black, flowing, layered, and heeled outfits that she’s worn. This will reflect her designs. You can expect to see her pieces in Europe this fall and possibly in the U.S. as well.

During the backstage interview, the diva stated:

I’ve done a whole line of black clothes for somber times. I’m a very bad shopper. I hate going to stores and I can never find what I want. Basically, I want to wear something that has no seams – like, I just don’t want to wear anything. I’d rather go naked. So I always had to make my own stuff.

In addition to the new fashion line she’s designed, Lykke Li’s new album I Never Learn is expected to drop on May 5, 2014. Listen to her tracks “No Rest For The Wicked,” “Love Me Like I’m Not Made Of Stone,” and “I Never Learn” from her forthcoming album below:
