Because we are all British reality show addicts, here's a quick quiz: Who won Britain's Got Talent in 2009? If you answered the dance group Diveristy, you'd be correct. Truth is, though, nobody really cares, because the runner-up in the contest, Susan Boyle, is set to earn six million dollars from sales of her of debut album, I Dreamed a Dream. Factor in some personal appearances, and Ms. Boyles and her kitty Pebbles should be pretty well fixed for the near future. Hopefully Diversity has cleared just as much from their street dancing exhibitions, but covering the Stones seems a little bit more lucrative. [Idolator]
Diversity was a great bunch of kids, but I don't think many people actually believed they won. Come on, BGT didn't want Susan to win, that was obvious, and the bookies had a lot to lose if she won.
They paid the tabliods well to try to destry her.
I hope the kids are doing well though, and I wish Susan Boyle all the best.

And this $6 million is only the FIRST installment for her 6-week, record sales UP TO DEC. 31st of last year using traditional, music industry accounting/pay-out practices ... there should be MANY MILLIONS MORE $$$ coming from her current, WORLD-WIDE total of 8.5 million album CDs sold so far ... WAY TO GO, SUSAN!!! You're the BEST!!!!!

I agree with Brenda !

I think most people got comfortable thinking Susan was going to win because she was the best so they did not vote enough but she is the winner, and was since she auditioned. I do not think it had anything to do with BGT. Susan is amazing I saw her sing live in New York and she nailed those songs. . Congratulations Susan. New Jersey USA

Good luck to Diversity - they are a talented bunch of young men.
But Susan, well she's something else - a magnificent megastar. She deserves every single penny she makes. I can think of no-one who has had such a positive effect on people all over the world. We love her. Happy Birthday, Susan.

Good for Susan. Susan is amazing and so many people love her. Money doesn't always bring happiness, but it sure beats being poor. Just hope her siblings don't drain her bank account. Congratulations, Susan!
