Surfer Blood Sign To Warner Brothers
Young California Turks Surfer Blood have signed a deal with major label Warner Brothers, reports Pitchfork. The group is going to release one more EP for indie label Kanine, and then go big time with a new LP due out next year. I guess if you were to make a list of bands most likely to jump to the majors, Surfer Blood would be on there, but who expected them to jump after one record? I guess when you sound sort of like the Shins, you can go major.
