Sunset Rubdown Bassist Struck by Lightning (For Reals)

In a post on Jagjaguwar's website, Sunset Rubdown announced that bassist/drummer Marc Nicol is fine after being struck by lightning in late August. Seriously, the dude has that gnarly burn to prove it. Here's what Nicol had to say about the incident:

"My heart started back up after the electrical shock. I woke up feeling like I was suffocating and was delirious. Then I passed out for an hour, woke back up and saw the hair singed on my leg. Only then I knew."

Nicol is totally fine, and is expected to hit the road with Sunset Rubdown when the hit the road this month. [via Daily Swarm]
