October 2 is the scheduled release date for the latest album from the sprawling "New Weird America" collective Sunburned Hand of the Man. Entitled Fire Escape, the album will be released by Smalltown Supersound. Fire Escape was produced by Kieran Hebden of Four Tet fame, who also adds some piano to the music.
