Labor Day weekend will bring the second annual Summer Strummer Festival to Santa Monica, CA. Among the acts scheduled to play the fest are Jesse Malin (pictured), Eddie Spaghetti of the Supersuckers, Augustana, Howie Day, Better than Ezra, Kate Voegele, Astra Heights, Bullets and Octane, and the Exies. I was unfortunate enough to photograph last year's "festival". With a disappointing turnout, sub-par location and unimpressive roster I'm surprised the organizers decided to anniversary the event. ugh.
