Sufjan hints he's heading to Cali for next album

At the tail end of an interview Sufjan Stevens did with Rafter Roberts over at Asthmatic Kitty's Web site, Sufjeezy drops a teaser that the next album in his fifty-states collection might be quite a golden one:
Sufjan: Being a native of the Golden State, do you want to collaborate on a record about California?
Rafter: Yes! I think we could probably have a really nice time making a great record.
Interesting. There's so much California arcana to tickle Suf's fancy. Scientology and other crackpot religions. Urban uprisings. Natural disasters. I think we should start a contest to see who can come up with most Suf-sounding song title for the new album. How about "To the Beautiful Patty Hearst: The Symbionese Liberation Army is Coming to Get You," or "To the Unjustly Persecuted at Sleepy Lagoon: History Will Absolve You." This is fun--bring 'em in.
