Sufjan Stevens Announces New Album

Sufjan Stevens is all about surprising the shit out of everyone these days: First he rush-released that EP last week, and today he announces that a new album, titled The Age of Adz, is due out on Oct. 12. Just so you’re aware, “adz” is apparently pronounced “odds,” so just in case you start talking about it with a cooler person, know how to pronounce it right. The album is also not a continuation of Stevens’ state project, instead sharing themes with that EP. Go here for more info.
