Suckers Debut 'Wild Smile' Out June 8, March-June Tour, Free 'Boys Who Rape' MP3

2009 breakthrough band Suckers' live shows consist of tribal beats, yelping, chanting, brass swells and face paint, which means that they likely won't bore audiences on their March-June tour with Local Natives. This tour will support the release of their debut album Wild Smile, which Frenchkiss Records is releasing June 8. (Frenchkiss has on its roster other anthem-drunk bands, such as the Antlers and Dodos.)

Emerging from the Williamsburg scene with their self-titled EP, Suckers became popular thanks to hype from such publications as NPR, Rolling Stone and Pitchfork. Including sold-out shows at the Bowery Ballroom, several SXSW dates and three months of cross-country shows, the tour is looking like kind of a big deal.
