Stream: TV On The Radio's 'Nine Types Of Light'
We're one week away from the release of one of the year's most anticipated albums, TV on the Radio's Nine Types of Light. I have already given the record, which is their fourth, several listens, but I'm still having trouble accurately describing it. The typical TVOTR sounds are there, such as the heavy traces of R&B, woozy-yet-melodic vocals, and gripping instrumentation. But I still can't put my finger on exactly what they're doing on here. That being said, it's another solid record from Brooklynites and one that we'll be fawning over for at least the next month or two.
