The White Stripes' publicity-grabbing tour of Canada in 2007 was recorded for a documentary/live album that is due out next week (March 16). I can't do much re: the documentary for you (just go buy it, I guess) but thanks to NPR, you can listen to the album part right now. It's a pretty solid setlist that draws from the Stripes' deep back catalog, and the closing take of "Seven Nation Army" is downright massive. Like I said, it's due out next week in a variety of packages.
I cannot wait until that documentary comesout. Jack and Meg are amazing musicians. I wanna see if the film producers can capture their essence. Plus, Jack White is who I aim to sound like in my band. So, I'm hoping I learn some new tricks out of that documentary. Go Stripes!
