Stream: The Rosebuds' 'Loud Planes Fly Low'

If you read our review on the Rosebuds' Loud Planes Fly Low and were looking to get a jump on the June 7 release date, then Spin has your number. They're streaming the entire album five days before it drops, so you can check out just what Prefix writer Matthew Fiander meant when he wrote:

It's an album that sounds like it was difficult to make, as these two move from being the couple to being the players, and that difficulty yields some of their most beautiful moments on record yet, even if it also (and perhaps necessarily) gets in the way of the songs sometimes.

Loud Planes Fly Low is the duo's fifth album and their first since 2009's Life Like, when the future of The Rosebuds appeared to be in limbo due to a failing marriage. But Kelly Crisp and Ivan Howard didn't let their personal matters stand in the way of their music, which became a way for them to express just what caused their split.

The album drops June 7. Listen over at Spin.
