Stream: Red Fang's 'Murder The Mountains'

Portland's Red Fang has traded in its looser, punk-ish sounds for a style that resides closest to the Melvins and their stoner-rock offspring (and, no, not that Offspring). I'm talking bands like Big Business, Electric Wizard, and Torche. With gruff-to-clean vocals and guitar-riffs/freak-outs that would make Queens of the Stone Age fans weep, these guys are destined to make a lot more noise (figuratively and literally) soon with Murder the Mountains. The album is due out in two weeks on Relapse Records, but NPR has a full stream available for those of you looking to assault your eardrums.
