Stream: Passion Pit's Manners

I was skeptical that Passion Pit would be able to expand their sound from the intimate indie-pop of their toss-off debut EP, Chunk of Change, on their Columbia debut, Manners. But that skepticism proved to be unwarranted, because the album is pretty great--a lot of group choruses, rushing indie-pop, and future anthems. You can stream the entire album, including awesome lead single "Moth's Wings," at the band's MySpace page right now in advance of its May 19 release date.

Manners is out in the States via Frenchkiss and via Columbia in the U.K. [via Pitchfork]

Just when I thought kids singing on record was played out, here comes Passion Pit. Solid album.
