Stream Gang Of Four's New Album
Gang of Four asked for help from fans when they needed to fund Content, which is set to be their first release in 16 years. Since receiving support from the online music community, the seminal post-punk band has used the web to show their gratitude. Last fall, Gang of Four offered up a free EP's worth of material, and now the generosity continues: Content can be streamed for free over at NPR.
Despite their penchant for memorable hooks, Gang of Four's music has always been too challenging and thought-provoking for quick digestion; while it's still a bit early to categorize, compare and dissect the album, fans will get some time to explore it thoroughly as it will stream through Jan. 25.
