Stream Cat Power's 'Sun' Plus Live Q+A

Cat Power's highly-anticipated new album Sun will be her first album of new material since 2006's The Greatest when it comes out September 4 via Matador. But right now, you can stream the whole thing via NPR Music until its release date. New songs "Cherokee" and "Ruin" have pointed towards a spikier effort for Chan Marshall, counting as some of the best in her lengthy discography. Take a listen to the album here.

Also, at noon eastern time today, NPR Music's "All Songs Considered" will host a live question and answer session with Marshall. You can submit your own questions via the comments section of the live stream.

UPDATE: The live Q+A with Chan Marshall had to be dropped due to the tropical storm bearing down on Florida. Stay tuned for when it will be rescheduled.
