After not releasing a proper album since 2008's Smile, Boris is dropping not one but two albums next week. The unclassifiable Japanese rockers will release both Heavy Rocks and Attention Please eight days from now. And both are, of course, vastly different from one another while not being an all-out departure from their previous work. Heavy Rocks seeks to redefine the colossal-rock sound they brought forth on the original Heavy Rocks, which dropped in 2002. As for the sultry and psychedelic Attention Please, it features guitarist Wata serving as the lead vocalist on every track for the first time ever. Where can they possibly go next?
