Stream Bloc Party’s ‘Four’

On August 21, Frenchkiss Records will release Bloc Party’s fourth album and the band’s first in four years. The aptly-titled Four is now streaming in its entirety ahead of its release date over at Bloc Party’s album website.

Recorded in New York City over the course of several years, the band got production assistance from Alex Newport, who’s worked with the Mars Volta and At The Drive-In in the past. Developer Lee Martin built the streaming mechanism, which allows users to interact with friends on Facebook by inviting “your four” to the stream. Lyrics are also included for all the songs. It’s a pretty nifty interface, perfect for the populist dance-pop housed within.
