Given the amount of rock dinosaurs still out there making what passes for music, the return of Stone Temple Pilots could be viewed as something of a youth movement. According to band singer and general headcase Scott Weiland, the band will play SXSW and a few small shows before heading to Europe for a longer tour and dropping a new record in May. Though there is no information on the name of the album, it will contain the songs "Huckleberry Crumble" and "Between the Lines." The disc was recorded and mixed by the Deleo brothers, who promise that "fans are going to get a great STP record." At least he's being realistic and not promising the greatest Stone Temple Pilots ever; there's no way the band could ever really surpass the timelessness of Core. [Spinner]
Man, that cover brings back memories. And not very good ones, either.
I was actually a big fan of Purple....seriously

Why would you want the same album twice?? Band's never make the same album twice, and that's why STP is one of the best band's ever because each album is different from the last.
Do yourself a favor and listen to their other work besides "Plush" and "Creep" to formulate a better opinion about the band.
