A couple that attempted to blackmail Stevie Wonder for $5 million have been sentenced following a plea deal with prosecutors, according to reports. Alpha Walker and his girlfriend Tamara Diaz tried to sell an 80-minute video that police said "portrayed the singer in a negative light."
Walker--who also claimed to be related to Wonder--and Diaz were arrested following a sting on their home in May. They were sentenced to 292 days in prison and three years probation, but since they already served enough time waiting for trial, they were released. The pair were ordered to stay away from Wonder and his associates; Walker is also required to attend mental health counseling while Diaz must undergo treatment at Narcotics Anonymous. [NME]
