Steven Tyler Taking Time Off From Aerosmith To Write Autobiography

The Aerosmith break-up story continues into its third week, with reps from Steven Tyler's camp saying that Tyler is not quitting the band, he's just taking time off to write his autobiography and recover from a shoulder injury. However, Tyler wants to take two years off, expecting his band to do the same. But that hasn't sat well with the band, who don't want to sit around waiting for Tyler to get that third house in Tahiti money. So, for now, it seems like Tyler is out of Aerosmith for the time being, while the band weighs their options on how to continue. I'm sure they'll be about 10 more updates in the next three days.
