Steven Adler arrested on probation violation

Reports leaked out this weekend that original Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler was arrested again for a drug violation, after pleading guilty to another charge in November. But apparently Adler was arrested for a probation violation, stemming from the fact that he hadn't finished community service from the last charge.

 Steven's people say he was arrested because he hadn't finished his community service in the time frame given by the judge. They say Adler went to register as a drug offender -- also court ordered -- on the 26th, when cops acted on the arrest warrant stemming from the unfinished community service. He was charged with "being under the influence of a controlled substance" because that was the original charge from his July arrest. Steven's people want to make it clear he was not under the influence of drugs.

I'm not sure I'd be scrambling to say I wasn't on drugs when I could face jail time for being stupid and not picking up trash for my court ordered time. But hey, doing drugs is worse than being dumb. [TMZ]
