Apple founder and DRM devotee Steve Jobs responded to reports of his imminent death at Apple's Let's Rock event by literally putting the writing on the wall. during his talk, the familiar Twain quote "Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." appeared on the wall behind him. Jobs, who has lost a considerable amount of weight lately, has been dogged by rumors that had him suffering a variety of maladies. The speculation was further fueled by the leak of Jobs' obituary by Bloomberg News (though writing obits for prominent personalities is standard, regardless of their health). Jobs has remained circumspect  about the entire affair, but did stress in an off the record conversation with Joe Nocera of The New York Times that he is not suffering from a life-threatening illness and that Apple is larger than one man.
