We have some more good news from the camp of Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks. After they release the Beck-produced Mirror Traffic in August, the band will embark on a one-month-long tour of the U.S. and Canada. The jaunt starts in Detroit before heading north for a few Canadian dates that lead into a trip from Boston down the East Coast. Scattered Midwest shows follow before Malkmus and the Jicks scour the West Coast. Given the gap between the album's release date and the tour's first gig, you should have ample time to get acquainted with it all before they come to, or close to, your hometown.
