Stephen Fasano (Ex-Aeroplane) Now The Magician
Former Aeroplane member Stephen Fasano still has a few tricks up his electro-wizard's sleeve. After parting ways with partner Vito DeLuca in June (just shortly before Aeroplane's debut album is set to be released), Fasano has (presto!) resurfaced as The Magician.
Details are still hazy, but according to a newly created Facebook fan page, his first feats will be a remix for The Aikiu and an EP scheduled to drop this fall. In line with Aeroplane's long-standing tradition of creating free-to-download monthly mixes, the first The Magician mix is now available via Soundcloud. Fans can breathe a sigh of relief: If the mix is anything to go by, sounds like Fasano will continue to cultivate lush, blissed-out, Italo-centric disco.
