Starfucker Signs To Polyvinyl, Tours

You may remember Starfucker as being the band that tried to change their name, failed, and then changed their name back to their original moniker. However, the electronic quartet hailing from Portland, Oregon is so much more than a band with an identity crisis. After garnering popularity in their hometown by playing countless shows and touring feverishly, Starfucker has slowly gained a reputation for being able to marry their undeniable pop-sensibilities with house-infused electronica that will get you singing, dancing and sweating up a storm.

All that hard work is starting to pay off because the band recently announced that they signed to the Illinois-based label, Polyvinyl and will be releasing the single “Julius” on Sept. 14. In addition, the four-piece has recently announced a month-long US tour.
