I first saw Spank Rock perform in the early summer of 2005 when they opened up for Prefix's favorite rapper, Devin the Dude. I was left in a daze when this skinny brunette girl grabbed the mike and started spitting some fire. I definitely wasn't expecting it, and although I've seen Spank Rock perform with Amanda Blank several times since, it's still a crazy experience when they perform "Bump."
Seeing as how much I love the track, I didn't expect to like a remix of it so much. In hindsight, I'm an idiot for having ever doubted the Stanton Warriors. I could go on and on about how great the upcoming Fabriclive 30 album (due out November 14 in the U.S.) mixed by them is, but I'll restrain myself since we do have a review forthcoming.
