At Least One Dead After Stage Collapses At Pukkelpop
Update: The Associated Press reports that at least one person was killed as a result of the collapsed stage at Pukkelpop while others were injured.
Information surrounding the event is rather limited, but Consequence of Sound is reporting that the stage collapsed during Smith Westerns' set at this year's Pukkelpop festival in Hasselt, Belgium. The band took to their Twitter account and wrote the following message: "Stage collapsed max almost got crushed by the tress. I hope pukkelpop has insurance bc all our shit is broke." The "max" the message refers to is band member Max Kakacek. As far as we know no one was injured, but we will update this post when any other information is released.
