St. Vincent announces more tour dates

Fresh off extensive touring with John Vanderslice and a handful of dates opening for the cool kids of Arcade Fire, St. Vincent (the performing name of singer-songwriter Annie Clark) is wasting no time in making plans to return to the road. Clark has booked up her month of July with a headlining tour. Perfect timing to support her debut album Marry Me, slated for release July 10 on Beggar's Banquet. Unlike the solo shows St. Vincent was putting in with Vanderslice, this tour will find a full band backing Clark. Opening on most dates will be fellow female folkie Scout Niblett. For the last three shows of the tour, St. Vincent will be joined by Death Vessel. Continue on after the jump for the wheres and whens...
