St. Vincent Reveals 'Strange Mercy' Details, Tour Dates

As we reported in early June, Annie Clark's third album as St. Vincent, Strange Mercy, is scheduled to be released in September. We still don't know exactly what it will sound like -- aside from the fact that she's apparently "redefining the idea of the guitar hero" -- but we at least know what it will look like. That's the weirdo cover over there to your left. We also know that the album will feature tracks with titles such as "Chloe in the Afternoon," "Hysterical Strength," and, my personal favorite, "Neutered Fruit." Oh, Annie. She's also lined up a slew of tour dates for the fall, which begin in October in Minnesota.
