St. Lucia Signs To Neon Gold/Columbia, Preps Single, Debut EP

Johannesberg-born, Brooklyn-based St. Lucia, real name Jean-Philip Grobler, has announced his signing to Neon Gold/Columbia Records. The dreamy electropop songwriter will bring his music to a wider audience through a Jan. 31 single ("We Got It Wrong") and remix EP, which will feature Chiddy Bang's Xaphoon Jones, Starsmith and Lenno. Then, in March, Lucia will drop his eponymous debut EP. In about a week, he'll hit the road for five New York dates (three at Piano's) and a few gigs further south, finishing up with a performance at SXSW. This is a strong start to the year for Lucia, who was part of Prefix's Free Fix series not too long ago. You can take a look at the upcoming tour dates below.
