Via Billboard:I dare say Bruce Springsteen is the indie influence du jour right now. The Hold Steady just announced they'll take part in a tribute concert to Springsteen, joining a lineup that already included M. Ward, Joseph Arthur, and Josh Ritter. And how much does Neon Bible sound like an amped up, ramped up take on early Boss?
Now the indie kids will have more to be inspired by. On June 5, Columbia is slated to release Bruce Springsteen and the Seeger Sessions Band Live in Dublin. The multimedia offering will consist of two audio CDs, a DVD, and a Blu-ray disc. They all chronicle three nights Springsteen and the large band that backed him for We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions put in at the Point in Dublin.
