Having been hard at work on their new album since last fall, the members of Spoon are taking a well-deserved break and hit the road for a small series of shows. After tonight's free show in Bloomington (sorry, no tickets left) the band heads to Mexico to play with Architecture in Helsinki before returning to the states for some SXSW apperances. From there, the band plays a few more U.S. dates in April, and rounds it all off with Sasquatch and Bonnaroo appearances. No word yet on the release of the new album, but seeing as the band had originally targeted an April or May release date we can hope that an announcement isn't too far off. 03-06 Bloomington, IN - Private Jack Daniel's show 03-10 Mexico City, Mexico - MX Beat Deportivo 03-14 Austin, TX - Antone's (Merge SXSW showcase) 03-17 Austin, TX - Stubb's (Esquire SXSW showcase) 04-12 Nashville, TN - Private Jack Daniel's show 04-21 Baltimore, MD - Sonar 04-22 Philadelphia, PA - Starlight Ballroom 04-26 New Haven, CT - Toad's Place 04-27 Northampton, MA - Pearl Street 05-27 George, WA - Sasquatch Festival 06-16 Manchester, TN - Bonnaroo Festival
