Spiritualized's masterpiece, Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space, turns twelve this year, and Jason Pierce and co. are celebrating in high style. On October 12, they will be performing the album in its entirety at London's Royal Festival Hall as part of the Don't Look Back series. If you want to attend, you better start planning now--tickets go on sale this Thursday, March 19th. Also in October, the album will be reissued as the "Legacy Edition," which will feature new packaging and bonus tracks. [AngryApe]
I love Spirtualized, but this is one of my least fave records by them.
"Ladies And Gentlement" is the only song I like on it.
Wha?!?!?! have you heard the Live at Royal Albert Hall album? it's mostly songs from this album - Come Together, Think I'm in Love...the live versions are better but this album is pretty damn good.
I'd much rather hear them do Let It Come Down as a live set. I agree with Banger, I love that title track, but I don't think it is their best album.
