The comedic minds behind ridiculous rawk gems such as "Big Bottom," "Sex Farm," and "Hell Hole" will be hitting the road not as Spinal Tap, but as the men behind the wigs and spandex. Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer will tour North America this spring performing songs from the fictional rock band's first two albums and will also play songs from The Folksmen's repertoire, another fictional music act that the actors portrayed in Guest's 2003 mockumentary, A Mighty Wind. The "Unwigged and Unplugged" tour, as it's being called, should be big on laughs, but those hoping that the speakers will be cranked to 11 will be disappointed, as it will be an all acoustic show.
