Injecting some much needed comic relief into all the controversy the upcoming Live Earth concerts have cooked up, a reunited Spinal Tap has been added to the list of bands who will play the London incarnation of the show at Wembley Stadium. Rob Reiner, director of the classic This is Spinal Tap, says the band is "not that environmentally conscious, but they've heard of global warming. Nigel thought it was just because he was wearing too much clothing--that if he took his jacket off it would be cooler." The mock-rockers have even penned a new tune for the occasion, "Hotter than Hell." Their reunion, as with all the Live Earth gigs, goes down July 7. That night they're gonna rock you that night!
