Spin Names Its "20 Best Albums of 2009... So Far"

If you want to grab the public's attention, create a list. Maybe that's why Spin magazine has decided to give its opinion of the year's twenty top albums at the halfway point in 2009.

The mag's list mostly concentrates on indie stuff with at least one rap album and...wait a minute. Instead of describing it, here is a handy version of the actual list (compiled over at Stereogum), which will also save everyone the time of having to wade through Spin's one-artist-per-page online list.
