Limp Bizkit, Insane Clown Posse, Bongzilla and Nickelback are among the 20 dumbest band names of all time according to a list from Spike TV. With so, so many contenders to the title, it almost seems silly to restrict yourself to 20. Still, Spike manages both to remember that there’s a group called “Helloween” and call out U2 and The Edge for being pretentious so they’ve covered plenty of bases. They don’t actually furnish any explanation of what a “Slint” is, but to be fair, neither can the band. [Spike]

As I Lay Dying is a relatively good (and creepy) novel by Faulkner. That's got to give it some credit. |
How can two bands that are both highly influential and have been around for 25+ years be on this list. Also, the singer from Bongzilla is now in Weedeater. Both of those are distinct names that shouldn't be taken too seriously. Also, Limp Bizkit is my unanimous #1 also. I would add As I Lay Dying too.
