We Were Once a Fairytale, the Spike Jonze-directed short film that was originally going to be a video for Kanye West's "See You in My Nightmares," but was too long and too weird, has just gotten an iTunes-exclusive release date of Sept. 8. The video, which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival, reportedly features Kanye humping a pillow before ripping a demon out his own stomach. Which are, roughly, only the seventh and eighth weirdest things Kanye did in the last 12 hours. [Pitchfork]
