Spectrum staying busy with new material, touring

Spectrum, the band helmed by ex-Spacemen 3 member Sonic Boom, has a lot on its plate. The band collaborated with legendary producer Jim Dickinson to create the album Spectrum Meets Cpt. Memphis - Indian Givers. The record will include re-workings of classic Spacemen 3 songs like "Amen" and "Take Your Time," new tracks from both Spectrum and Dickinson, and songs the two acts worked on together. It's scheduled for a February release via Birdman. Spectrum will also release an EP entitled in March via Mind Expansion Records, while a new Spectrum full-length is expected before 2008 is done. Add to all that an upcoming North American tour and you have one busy band.
